**Warning May Contain Spoilers**(If you haven’t seen this movie watch it now)
For what an amazing cult classic pulp fiction is, surprisingly it didn’t do so hot when it hit opening weekend back in 1994. It had only generated a million dollars more than the budget of roughly $8 million. However, since it’s release it has made over 10 times that through DVD/VHS sales and special re screenings. Pulp Fiction follows a host of characters through an intricate plot full of many twist and turns. Some of the key characters are Vincent(John Travolta), Jules(Sam l. Jackson), Mia(Uma Therman), Butch(Bruce Willis) and a load of other very prominent actors and even Tarantino himself.
“Say what again I dare you”
The movie starts out in a small dinner with dialog from two petty thieves about to rob the place. If you remember Ringo from one of Tarantino’s other movies I give you props, i’ll probably be doing a review/critique of it soon enough. Anyway, credits roll then we are introduced to two of the movies main characters, Vincent and Jules, just as they are on a job. The picture above is a very iconic scene from this part of the movie because we get a stone cold killer Sam l. Jackson dropping some punks that tried to steal from the wrong mother fucker. Much later we are introduced to Bruce Willis character (butch) as a little child watching some really racist, in my opinion, cartoon show about an Inuit and his dog or something like that. Anyway, We are taken through the story of his father and his watch…
This is easily my favorite Tarantino movie. Which is hard because I loved Reservoir Dogs. This movie like most of Tarantinos’ other films has everything i’m looking for in a movie. It’s got tons of A-list actors and lots of violence. Not to mention a dj is named after a very iconic scene from this movie.(Zed’s Dead)
